Existential Monsters

Art is my longitude study of psychic manifestations.

My path with my monsters and nightmares sometimes goes on the bright side, and sometimes on the side of the Shadow.

This is my experiment about that art is not always utilitarian. That is, not “the decorative thing” to show on the wall. It is therapeutic and can tell stories without any words.

My drawings are mainly my stories about myself, about other people with mental disorders.

I work in my art studio overlooking the mountain and sky.

In our art studio, there are more than 10 hysterical flowers and two and a half cats. Of these: two lazy and a very active half of cat.

Half of the cat is currently in the borderline zone

Every day I sit down at the table and choose a notebook in which I will continue the series of drawings. One of my exhibitions “Desmurgy” was based on such a series of works in art books.

The second exhibition, “Existential Monsters”, which you can watch in the video, is dedicated to the topic of mental health and the life of people with mental disorders. For the first time, this exhibition was presented at the Horizontal 3.0 festival in 2020. Some of these works are displayed in the store.

Fabric painting is a separate type of my work. This is another way not to hang a picture on the wall, but to show a picture that is in tune with your state, whenever you want. This will be the focus of my collection of clothes, which I paint by hand. And believe me, these will not be cute pictures that you are used to seeing in an ordinary hand-made.

There are always a lot of eyes, tears, and blood in my works. This is not the same as a soothing book to read at night. It is a portal through which you can look to your dark side as if reading a poignant, painful poem.

“Damage” triptych

I draw intuitively, I never have a detailed plan or sketch. Every time I meet with my work and get acquainted with it when it is finished. And every time it surprises me.

I invite you on a journey through a strange, sometimes scary world, which can reveal something new for you and yourself. Perhaps sometimes this journey will not be pleasant, nice, and sweet, but you will definitely remember it.
